Sunrise Hike to Savandurga

Quite long time never wanted to be leisure on Sunday's. There was nothing defined on 19th March 2023 [Sunday]. Suddenly previous night decided to hike Savandurga for sunrise view. 

Myself, Sudhakar & Santosh from Kengeri, Vijay said to join us directly at base point of Savandurga.

Savandurga hiked multiple times this before, wanted to hike one more time. It is hardly 40 kms from our home Kengeri.

Early morning left 5.45 am little late. Santosh brought his car, three of us headed towards Magadi.

Unfortunately, before reaching Savandurga, sun rose and could not able to witness on the hill.

Reached base point at 6.50 am. Decided to have light breakfast before heading towards trek. There is one delicious hotel who serves Tatte Idli and Vade.

Feeded our hungry stomach and started our trek. Weather was pleasant due to rain in the previous night.

Crowd was more as usual. Since Savandurga is very close to Bengaluru city, you will find of lot of crowds.

Very soon reached the first break point. Spent some time and continued our journey.

Valley was now more open to our sight, very interesting is many children were also hiking this beautiful hill.

Enough lucky to meet our Cycling friend Meera V who achieved couple of Guinness & Limca book of records.

Reached the peak and spent some good time. Indeed, weather was so pleasant.

Due to delay, Vijay did not join with us. However, met him while we are descending the durga. Reached the base soon and filled our golden memories of Savandurga hike.
