Chinaga Betta

Quite long time we did not do any one day trek around Bengaluru. Friend, Shanthi Prasad recommended to venture Chinaga Betta on 7th Jan 2023 weekend. 

 

I did not hear this name before, without second though we said OK to trek. Myself, Shanthi Prasad, Sudhakar & Santosh planned in car pooling, Madhu joined with us on his bike.

Chinaga Betta is a small hike near Tumkur which is just 10 kms away from city. Started our journey early morning at 4.30 am and reached the base point by 6.30 am.

Finished entry formalities and paid the fee around Rs.313/- each and started our trek. The weather was very pleasant and misty. 

This trek is very small, but the trail is really super. You will cross the dense forest twice and reach the grassland.

We reached on the peak soon and enjoyed a lot. You can see more our journey in the below video. Anyone can plan with family too.
