Mysuru Round Trip on Bullet
The last Bullet trip was almost a year back Rameshwaram, I was badly wanted to go somewhere a long drive. Sudhakar suggested and planned to go round the trip of Mysuru on 18th September 2016. Joined with us Veeru & Ram on another bike.
Route Chosen
Bengaluru – Mysuru – Krishna Raja
Sagar – Kannambadi – Bhoovaraha Swamy Temple – Melukote – Nagamangala –
Nelamangala – Bengaluru
Left the Bengaluru on 17th
September 2016 night around 9.30 pm.
Stayed night Sudhakar’s sister home at Mysuru. The night ride was awesome, reached Mysuru
around 12.45 am.
18.09.2016
Finished yummy breakfast at
sister home and left morning around 8.30 am.
Firstly visited the Krishna Raja Sagar Dam. We have witnessed the Kaveri river flowing
helplessly Karnataka towards Tamilnadu. The security
was tightened around the dam.
Continued
our journey towards Kannambadi, the place of Kaveri backwater area. It was very pain to see the backwater area,
the water presence is far away.
Farmers are cultivating the land inside the Dam. This is the situation of Kaveri river this year.
Venugopal Swamy temple is coming up on the bank of Kaveri river. Still the construction work is going on.
Spent good time with photography and continued our journey towards Bhoo Varaha Swamy Temple, Kallahalli.

Unfortunately we
could not able to have Darshana, the goddess alankara time. Had swamy Prasad and continued the journey
towards Melukote.
On the way we relaxed
couple of minutes in the beautiful place.
We reached the Melukote around 3pm.
Explored the surrounding area and spent good time for photography.
Now the time to adieu beautiful place and ahead towards the Bengaluru.

We decided
to go back through Hasana highway. Taking
the Nagamangala, Bellur cross reached Bengaluru around 9 pm. Overall we covered around 428 KMs.
One more memorable journey added in my life with good buddies. The weather was awesome and enjoyed entire the
journey.
