Road Trip to Hampi – Vijayanagar Great Kingdom

We are again on road, this time in car on 25^th – 26^th June 2016 to Hampi. Sudhakar car Alto finalized, team restricted four members. Myself, Sudhakar, Chandrkanth & Ram.

We left early morning around 4 am, on the way picked up Chandrakanth & Ram. The monsoon about to start. We had breakfast near Chitradurga.

From Chitradurga to Hospet road is pathetic, heavy traffic and road is very narrow. Reached the Hampi and started to explore.

Visited Place:

Evening started for stay arrangements. We made a good deal for Rs.550/- with basic facilities. Had dinner at famous restaurant ‘Mango Tree Restaurant’.

The day is started early, we went to view beautiful Sun rise. Covered most of the place and started return journey to Bengaluru. On the way visited Tungabhadra Dam.

The rain was pouring heavily, the driving was bit difficult. Reached the Bengaluru late night. Two days journey was memorable.
